Lectoraten bij LOI Hogeschool

LOI Hogeschool onderhoudt intensieve contacten met vertegenwoordigers van het werkveld. Zo kent ieder vakgebied bij LOI Hogeschool een eigen beroepenveldcommissie. De leden hiervan signaleren trends in de arbeidsmarkt en beoordelen of een nieuwe opleiding aansluit bij de behoefte van het werkveld. Ook is aan iedere bacheloropleiding een programmaleider verbonden die zicht houdt op de actualiteit en inhoud van de opleiding.

Daarnaast kent LOI Hogeschool verschillende lectoraten. Onze lectoren verrichten praktijkgericht onderzoek en leggen de verbinding tussen onderzoek, onderwijs en praktijk. Daarbij ligt de focus op kennisvermeerdering en innovatie. Ook vertegenwoordigen zij LOI Hogeschool op bijvoorbeeld symposia en in vakbladen.

Duurzame competenties worden steeds belangrijker op de arbeidsmarkt. Gilbert Silvius onderzoekt momenteel de marktbehoefte naar deze competenties en de integratie van deze competenties in de opleidingsprogramma’s van LOI Hogeschool.

Over Gilbert Silvius

”Authentic thinker, Experienced lecturer, Innovative author”, zo kopt het c.v. van Gilbert Silvius. Hij initieerde, ontwikkelde en leidde verschillende onderwijsprogramma’s, onder andere voor de University of Applied Sciences Utrecht. Ook is hij gastdocent aan o.a. de University of Johannesburg en fellow aan de Turku University of Applied Sciences in Finland. Bovendien publiceerde hij een groot aantal boeken en wetenschappelijke artikelen en is hij een veelgevraagd spreker en expert op internationale conferenties op het gebied van projectmanagement, business en IT. Aan LOI Hogeschool is hij verbonden als lector Onderwijs en arbeidsmarkt.

Curriculum vitae

Gilbert Silvius (1963) is an experienced ‘practitioner-turned-academic’. His academic experience spans over 15 years in which he initiated, developed and led several accredited programs and courses. Amongst these are the top-ranked MSc Project Management and MSc Informatics programs at HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht. He currently holds the chair of Project and Programme Management at LOI University of Applied Sciences in the Netherlands, is a visiting professor at the University of Johannesburg and a fellow at Turku University of Applied Sciences in Finland. Gilbert is internationally engaged by several universities in programs on business administration, project management and information management and is a fellow of the UK Higher Education Academy. His engagements include classroom, online and blended training and lecturing.
Gilbert authored 13 professional and academic books and over 100 academic papers. He is a frequent speaker on international conferences and a recognized expert on project management and the alignment of business and IT. Gilbert is the GPM 2013 sustainability award recipient and an honorary fellow of the International Information Management Association.
Next to his academic work, Gilbert is advising organizations as part of the enable2change network of experts. His professional experience spans three decades, in which he has been responsible for numerous projects, groups and departments.

Inge Hermann heeft ruime ervaring in zowel onderwijs als onderzoek op het gebied van tourism, leisure en hospitality. Zo is zij o.a. verbonden aan de Saxion University of Applied Sciences en was zij werkzaam bij de University of Bedfordshire en Inholland University of Applied Sciences. Ook publiceerde zij een groot aantal wetenschappelijke artikelen. Aan LOI Hogeschool is zij verbonden als lector Onderzoek en Onderwijs.

Dr. Selma Scheper-de Nijs, lector Praktijkgericht onderzoek in zorg en welzijn

Studenten van een HBO-bacheloropleiding voeren bij het afstuderen praktijkgericht onderzoek uit. Selma Scheper-de Nijs onderzoekt momenteel hoe de kennis die uit het afstuderen wordt opgedaan, beter gedeeld kan worden met de beroepsgroep en direct kan bijdragen aan de actualiteit van het onderwijsprogramma.

Over Selma Scheper-de Nijs

De carrière van Selma Scheper-de Nijs wordt gekenmerkt door een combinatie van patiëntgebonden onderzoek en onderwijs. Zo was zij o.a. werkzaam als onderzoeker bij het Amsterdam Universitair Medisch Centrum/Universiteit Amsterdam en de Universiteit Utrecht en heeft zij een groot aantal wetenschappelijke publicaties op haar naam staan. Ook heeft ze ervaring als docent in het hoger onderwijs bij Hogeschool Zuyd en Avans+ Hogeschool. Sinds 2014 is ze werkzaam voor de LOI en heeft ze o.a. een toezichthoudende en adviserende rol m.b.t. de kwaliteit van de afstudeerscripties en het verzorgen van onderwijs voor de bacheloropleidingen Hartfunctielaborant, Laborant klinische neurofysiologie en Longfunctieanalist. Aan LOI Hogeschool is zij verbonden als lector Praktijkgericht onderzoek in zorg en welzijn.

Curriculum vitae

Ik ben 13 jaar werkzaam geweest bij het Academisch Medisch Centrum/Universiteit van Amsterdam. In deze periode heb ik gewerkt als apothekersassistente, ben ik opgeleid tot en werkzaam geweest als longfunctie analiste en heb ik de universitaire opleiding tot klinisch epidemioloog afgerond. Tevens ben ik in deze periode onder begeleiding van professor E.H. Bel en professor P.J. Sterk gepromoveerd op het gebied van longziekten. Sinds 2014 ben ik werkzaam binnen het onderwijs. In opdracht van de Leidse Onderwijs Instelling (LOI) verricht ik onderwijswerkzaamheden binnen de afdeling LOI Hogeschool Gezondheidszorg. Daarnaast adviseer ik de LOI als supervisor van de docenten en beoordelaar van de eindkwaliteit van de HBO Laboranten opleidingen. Tevens ben ik werkzaam als docent bij Zuyd Hogeschool, faculteit gezondheidszorg, mens en techniek | Biometrie.
